8) Howdy folks, I haven't been on the PC much lately. Been running out of time for all my "stuff" to do. Still taking dance classes each week, & been going 3 days a week to my fitness center to do some weight machines & stretch before I head to store . I really hate to sit & type & haven't even been browsing this forum. I could waste a lot of time just trying to catch up.

Been of the "Oxy" for close to 2 months but still taking a few Lortabs mainly due to real bad tension, stress headaches which drive me batty. Just popped two but haven't had any since Tuesday nite & if my head & neck isn't bad I can usually get by 2-3 days. Had a procedure w/ some steroids/pain meds on my low back yesterday & going back in 2 weeks for another & possibly a third. Leg is not as tight & burning at present but as soon as I start getting physical, who knows. Also saw a cool clinical psychologist at the same clinic. Going back to him in a month & see what I can do w/ my crazy life. It's so hard to change your ways at 60 but I got to shake some stress & anger I've had all my life. He gave me a CD on self hypnosis to listen to when I go to sleep, but I need to get a portable player w/ ear phones. I don't know what will happen w/ that as I think that I'm the type who can't go under but I'll give it a try. This doc lives w/ chronic pain, used to play jazz piano & asked me if I new who Les Paul was & what he invented. This cat is 62! He also asked if I new Bucket Head & I said I know who the guy wearing a bucket was but never heard his music. Also asked me about shredding on the guitar & mentioned Yngwie'name. He has a collection of all the great Jazz cats & said he liked the Duke, Oscar Peterson, Count Bassie, Jelly Roll Morton & more. He also does Ballroom Dance so we might get along.

Anyway, ya'll be cool & I'll check back in later.

Hey Jake, good luck with getting yourself in better shape and thanks for touching base here. Several folks getting to worry, me included.

Look after #1 and stop in when there's time.

Best of luck my friend. :D

The decision to change is probably the hardest part of making a change.

If you think you can, you can.

Good to hear from you, Jake. Some roads are rougher than others, sounds as if yours has been getting just a little smoother. Anger is hard to keep in, hard to deal with when it comes out, just not a very useful emotion at all. Carry on, brother, you'll get there.
