As this was posted in the "favorite picture" thread I thought it is worth a little discussion here instead there. The question there was "What guitar is it?"
Here are a few detailed pictures of the guitar:
He is seen with her since first half 2020. Multiple pictures and YouTube videos with the guitar, but no stage use (well since she is only acoustic).
Obviously a F-50 Maple (laminated arched back).
No label.
All the binding, including the fingerboard binding and the headstock binding are black.
Black nut.
TRC screws are black.
Black Gotoh tuners (except a replaced Chrome D-string tuner!).
Edge of fingerboard towards soundhole square (so not a Westerly made guitar).
On the right picture you see there is still some white purfling between fretboard and neck.
The style of the rosette should fit either Corona or Tacoma. Now I wonder if that might have been a custom order that way?
Looks like an ebony bridge. Pickguard quite warped already! Soundhole damaged by heavy picking (you see bare wood already)
I'm really not good identifying Corona or Tacoma made guitars, so I hope Hans can solve this.
