How do I get this end pin jack out? The pick up was removed some time ago and from the looks of it the jack is toast as well. I can spin the outer brass strap nut but it doesn't come off. Any ideas are greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Can't see it on the inside picture, but isn't there a nut from inside? I would think that almost all of them are mounted from inside.

Thanks, Ralf. Yes there is a nut inside. I can barely reach it. Maybe I can persuade my GF to give it a try. Any idea what size the nut is? I'm guessing 1/2".

Broke off the connector and slipped a 9/16th socket on the nut.
You solved the problem, but just for reference, StewMac sells a special wrench for those endpin jacks.
