A little while ago Hans answered the mail on these pups as Guild manufactured pickups made from various parts of other pickup manufacturers. I held a fondness for these pickups from my 1960's Polara S100. Not a particularly bright pickup but a full low end. I would describe these as a junior P90. Pole pieces are adjustable. I see a set on ebay this week. I would be interested if they had the rings.

Guild used these pickups widely from around 1963-1965. They were phase out with the Mickey Mouse single coils. The most common guitars to use these pups were the early 1960's Jetstar S-50, Polara S100, M65 Freshman and T100 Slim Jim. The pups came in two styles: one will all chrome covers and one with a plastic top and chrome sides.

The most expensive guitar that I ever saw with these pickups is a X175 that is currently at New Hope Guitar for $2450. It is listed as a DeArmond pickup but Hans provided the updated info on a Guild pup.
