PM Hans, I'm relatively positive he has hardbound copies.

Last time this came up, Hans said he had hardbound copies and was willing and able to bring a couple to the Arlington, Texas guitar show in October. +1 on the suggestion to PM him.

I personally gave up on the hardcover idea because of the high cost compared to softcover when looking at the total cost (including shipping) to get it to me.

:D Yea, but if you PM him and have him send you a hard copy, you usually get a brief note and an autograph.

Are you sure it's going to be another book, or is it just the first one being expanded ? The reason I ask is that I have been holding off getting Vol 1 in the thought that a new expanded version 2 is coming out ?

Volume one covered the beginning years to 1977.

The next volume will be a next volume from 1977 - 1995 I think, when Fender took over, Hans, of course will verify.

It will be a different book!

Yes sir, I'm sure there will be a Volume II, and as Graham said, it will cover '78 on.
