Saw this on eBay and I don’t remember seeing this pattern on the guard before. Maybe I missed it if posted previously

Partially obscured by the trem arm but you get the idea.

Oh, and posted it here cause it was on an archtop. Please move if necessary.

Wow, very cool thanks for posting! That's a new style NS X-175 Special! It's blonde (like Fender's see-through blonde) with gold hardware! The F-holes don't appear to be bound, but yes, that's a new style pickguard. Compare to standard X-175 Special as well as the non-cataloged amber version. I'm not crazy about the blonde, but if they do that model in black with gold hardware... oh baby!

Who was the seller? Was it maybe just a prototype?
Don't know if it's a prototype, but it's listed by the Japanese "brokers".

Ah, I see, I somehow couldn't find the ads. So the real music store in Kawasaki, South of Tokyo (Yamano Music Co., Ltd., Kawasaki La Cittadella Building A 1F, 4-1 Ogawa-cho, Kawasaki-ku, Kawasaki-shi, Kanagawa 210-0023) who has that one (#3 of 50) wrote:

"Limited to 50 in the world! Only 2 in Japan!"
And the color is called "Faded White".

The label indeed shows 3/50 ! It almost looks like before the X-175 is a GSR! (So the line could be "GSR X-175 3/50") Not sure but possible. Would be the first Korean "GSR" ! EDIT: See my next post below!

And a KSG21 serial number if I see it correctly.

Now I have a clear picture of the label of number 2 of 50!
And what the heck is this? A "GLR" instead of "GSR" ??? "Guild Limited Release" ?? Now that's something new to learn and add to the "Forum-related Lingo FAQ" ( @chazmo @GAD @fronobulax )! Started in 2021 with the Newark St. GLR X-175.

I've got to check around in my guitar to see if there's something like this, I don't think anyone knows if they did this stuff in the Corona factory, I'd love take photos of lots of exclusive Corona's to see if it's there at all, but I suppose Hans makes his books that way.

Not sure what specifically you mean with "this stuff"? If you refer to GSR (and now GLR) that term was only introduced later on. So you don't need to look for it in your guitar.
The specific model that is discussed here is a new limited release and belongs to the Newark St. Collection which was introduced in 2013, you can read a bit about it here:
