Got 'er done in the D-55 today. Picture perfect, and nailed the I beam on the first placement. That little jig they supply with the pick-up is the cat's behind, and simply makes installation easy. Of course, I have tools and supplies for porting 2 stroke engine cylinders, and were very handy for this type of job.

And Don L, many, many thanks for the neck adjustment tip! It is so much better now.

Can you post some recordings? I'd love to hear the sound.
Bro, at this point in time, I could only post 12 second clips, as I've not installed any PC software for greater recorded sound files.
I may add the software soon, but probably not before mid-April.

You can download audacity (which is free), and even has multitrack capabilities.

Actually, We are going to upgrade the PC system between February, and mid April so I'm trying to keep the programs/files to a minimum. Since we run a couple websites from this PC, I am hesitant to make changes or additions until My PC guru has finished. I'll have to use My notebook for LTG and email use several times during the upgrade.

Also, I'm about to be hooked up to a Fiber Optics service system upgrade along with entire new modems/routers etc. Won't be long and I'll post a file or two for You to evaluate.

I'll check with My PC guy, and if He sez OK, I'll d/l the file, and do a clip or two.

Got My 2nd LR Baggs active I Beam today, and installed it into My GAD G212.
She's a bit difficult to accurately tune, i.e. too many household electric motors affecting the tuner. I simply grew weary of installing a sound hole p/u so I could use the instrument tuner electronically. Now, it's plug, tune, and play!

And Deepak, I am working on a program to record sound files. Soon, bro!

Awesome...I look forward to hearing your stylings sooth my ear :).

Picked some tracks this eve, but having trouble with noise. I'm thinking it is from the TV. Tomorrow, My wife will be away, and I'll try to make a decent session.

Did 3 songs yesterday. The first and second had problems.......thought that maybe I screwed something up doing the tracks. Deleted, and started a third, and when I was about to add a bridge (4th track) to the rhythm, lead, and vocals, a red line sweeps across the tracks, and they scramble and partially disappear! I'm at a loss for the cause of this. Maybe the program just didn't like My music. I may try again today, but first I need to talk with My P/C man.

Had 2 new big drives and other upgrades installed last September. I talked with My PC man, and We are both at a loss for the reasons. I may try again to record, but use only 3 tracks, as that seems to be the limit before the problems begin. Mid April, I'm going to have some major upgrades, so perhaps at that point We'll try to cleanse and re-install the program.
