Welcome to the boards. I seriously doubt you will be able to find a label that is not in another Guild guitar. Your best bet may be to create or copy and print one yourself. You'll want to use aged paper. Yes, counterfeit! Just my opinion!

A "home made" label would be a big warning sign to me as a buyer. Not a huge deal if the label has gone missing. Just disclose that fact if you ever sell. I assume the SN is stamped on the back of the headstock, no??

I've sold a couple with missing labels, disclosed that fact and they sold with no issues..

Welcome aboard!!

Welcome to LTG! Leave it as it is without the label, if you copy one it will be a counterfeit. You cannot get a replacement label.

If i write to Guild company a mail, do You Think they reply?(i know the answer maybe...)
No, they cannot help. The current Guild company owners Cordoba Music Group only owns Guild since 2014, so they have nothing from the history. And no company would send you a label as this is like sending you a second passport without knowing who you are. How should they know for instance you did not steal the guitar and want to fake the label? This is the reason nobody would like a copy of a label. You would need to present the guitar in question together with the original sales receipt on your name to the manufacturer, assuming they would have a 50 year old label... You could maybe do this if the manufacturer would have their headquarters in Italy, but with a foreign company you would not be able to go with the guitar and the original paperwork to the factory, especially as the owners of Guild have changed many times in the last 50 years. There is no hope for this issue. You need to leave it as it is without label.

I would not worry about it. Anyone looking at purchasing an old Guild will be more concerned with many other more important aspects of the guitar than the presence or lack of a paper label.

To those who know guitars, the guitar will identify itself and label will be of lesser importance.
Welcome to a GREAT forum!

What Acorn House said above. The back of the headstock is stamped with the serial number. That's your proof. I know you want to re-create the original but you can't and anything you put in there is immediately suspect and fraudulent. I know it's only for YOU and you can do anything you want with your guitar. But if you ever go to sell it, it would cause problems. I suggest you leave it alone. It does have the serial number on the back of the headstock, right???

The only person who might have a blank label would be Hans.
