Looks like an M-75, but, the headstock is small like an M-77T. Did they make an M-77 with the humbuckers and no Digsby?

Yep. It is a M77. They only came in Blue and Red. They have the smaller head and have a combination of gold and chrome hardware. They are about an 1/8 inch thinner than a M75. In my experiance the M75 adn M77 weighed in about the same.

Those pups sound great, they are called GoldTones I believe. I had one of these guitars, but it was a made in Indonesia model with the DeArmotron pickups that sounded great too. Great guitars for the price, the flamed top on some of them is stunning too.

I stand corrected. You are right. The last year of DeArmond they only offered Red and Blue. The introduction year the M77 was offered in a silver sparkle. I remember seeing it in Musicians Friend and later on ebay.

My mistake.

As an aside, when I went to the Experience Music Project in Seattle, the "guitar fountain" sculpture had at least 7 DeArmonds in it. Most were the M75 variant, and all of them had the pickups missing  Not the Indonesian one's without the Goldtones, though. Every other guitar had their pups in place.
