I am in search of a vintage, emerald green t-100d or Starfire III as shown. (Not mine). I sold mine in northern NJ in 1975. I would very much like to own one again. They are rare but I am determined to find one. Any leads or help is greatly appreciated and with gratitude. Thanks.

Welcome, Craig! We have similar taste. I found this 1961 Starfire III in Emerald Green a few months ago at a guitar shop in Oregon. (This is the seller's photo.) It plays and sounds even better than it looks. I don't know where you could find one for sale. Maybe here, someday!
Edit: @hansmoust has informed me that this guitar was originally a Starfire II. It was recorded as an ES-II (Emerald Star II) in the factory log, and Hans's eagle eye noticed that the model number on the label was altered with a different ink. The generic Bigsby was added after leaving the factory. Hans said this mod was common, so be on the lookout if you want a factory III.

I remember playing a ‘64 red SF4 in Sam Ash NYC about 4 years ago. I did a head to head with a vintage Gibson 335. Don’t recall the year. Everything about the Guild just felt better and sounded better. And the 335 was no slouch. As a matter of fact it was pretty stellar in its own right. But that SF4 was just perfect.
