reudi, where were you when I was selling my buddy's 27 estate lefty guitars? LOL

Actually, they got pretty quickly snatched up locally and on Reverb I was surprised they didn't get any action on LTG.

Scott was my only friend that owned more Guilds than I, and I couldn't play a single one of them!

What a shame that I discovered LTG too late! But on the other hand - it probably saved me a lot of money 😅 Everything happens (or does not happen) for a reason I believe - and a couple of other lefties out there are happy, which is totally fine with me.

This is weird. I went over it today, and ended in the almost exact same positions as it was before. I even had to raise the action on the low E a bit to get proper intonation.

Before you posted it I didn't know there was something like a "golden rule" intonation formula for Strats - and at least with mine, it doesn't work! What really annoys me is that low E string, the action is too high now for my likings, and intonation is still not perfect 😠

Guess I have to take the guitar to my tech (if he still lets me in....) Meanwhile, any suggestions?

I know I'm digging out my own necro thread, but I now know why I had intonation issues with the Strat! It's because the previous owner tried to hide the playwear on the frets, he filed them down in a hurry and did not do a proper crowning. And stupid/naive me didn't notice. The problem is now taken care of, and I can't wait to have the Strat back in my hands and not put it away after 15 minutes because of intonation nuisance 😅 Just thought I'd let you know.

Your top trio looks like one of several I would imagine as my top three too, ruedi. I would definitely have a 90s Black Beauty and an olympic white strat with a mint green pickguard. A Nightingale would round out the trio, but I would still want to find a way to fit my T-100D, CE-100D, and a vintage Aristocrat in there as well. This, of course, is all in my head, since I don't currently have a Strat, LP Custom, Nightingale, or a vintage M-75. Lol.

Regardless, that's a fine collection, and you sure are lucky! Thanks for posting.
