Ok yeah this a meaningless comment or statement etc but hey you know me ! lol
So what I’m gunna say is I want this guitar to have my babies ! Lmao
ok yeah kidding of course but Al might disagree bwahahaha .
Man I really hated spending the money but I can’t stop playing it . It won’t be a collectors after I get done with it unless luck dominates .
I’m an Adirondack lover my preferred top wood . Also a rosewood lover. With this guitars wood combo for me it checked all the boxes . Needless to say when other combos become affordable for me I will entertain myself ! Lmao may they slow in coming . lol
Ok so like everyone knows here Guilds even and well balanced tone is spot on . Balance on this guitar along with everything else sustain , reverb , overtones string balance bass to trenles are all crazily in sync . Bass is well rounded and pronounces clearly not muddy trebles are a bit capped , by design ? Has to be because it’s similar to my Westery D55 I had . But as a long as the whole package performs in balance then it’s perfect . Not one note or string trying to out shine the others . Playing style can change some of these attributes so no worries .
Everyone’s likes is different when it comes to tone and all I can say if your ears are like mine this baby rules the roost in the Guilds stable . Now I can’t compare to the NH GSR’s or any model that just had the “It” because there always one that types the scale .
Add in neck and fingerboard comfort pretty good . Um add an arm bevel or two and a cut away and I think I would just … err well never mind !
So the Rayk rating for this guitar is a solid 10 !
I mentioned a tune and it will happen soon and I will post here and in members music .
No new pics to dark at the moment but I will add something later . Stay tuned !
