Considering you own 3 Pilots and 2 Orpheums, your self-imposed rule seems a bit arbitrary to me.

Ah, but the three Pilots and two Orpheums are all quite different. Two of the Pilots are maple bodies, and one of them is fretless. And the other one is a poplar body, and lives with my girlfriend. The two Orpheums are kinda at opposite ends of the spectrum too, one being a jumbo, and the other an OM.

I think you would really enjoy a Brazilian F312, which is quite different from a F512. And fortunately for you, there are 2 available for sale by LTG members in New York, in case you decide to break your promise to yourself.

I don't doubt the that Brazilian F312 is nice, and would be my pick if I didn't prefer the slimmer nick profile of the single truss rod Guild 12ers. Have you tried one?

I've got the acoustic and the bass covered - would prefer a Guild jumbo 12-string (F-412 or F-512 - not fussy) over a 6-string electric please.

I have tried a Tacoma F512, which I believe has a single truss rod, and it was very comfortable to play. The F312 neck is a little beefy, but its smaller jumbo body makes it more comfortable to play overall, and the neck is still quite manageable.

I actually find very thin necks to be the most uncomfortable to play for extended periods of time (F65CE, '68 F50R)

I just think you are committing a disservice to yourself by limiting yourself to just one 12 string, since there are so many iterations of them, and they love to be played in alternate tunings.

Later Tacoma builds went from a double to single truss rod, and I'm not sure when the changeover happened. And the main reason that I limit myself to one 12 string is that I don't play them with the regularity that I play 6ers and basses. If I did, I would have no problem getting a few of them. These days, I really have too many 6 string guitars and basses, but they're all so good I don't know which ones to sell!

When Harry (gilded) found himself in a similar situation, he just bought a booth at the Arlington Guitar Show, and put them all on display, and I thought that was smart!

Love the Ric, Bruce!

I bought it new in 2018 from 'Olivia's Vintage Guitars' in the USA and shipped it here. They did a superb set-up and double boxed it for shipping. Plays beautifully straight out of the box, altogether the perfect acquisition experience.

Bass - F30SSB
Electric - X-2000
Acoustic - torn between F50R and F512 - while the mouth of worm is getting closer - I might be leaning towards F50R - easier to play.

While I am one of the few here who actually qualify for this question, I will not be taking part in such a ridiculous mentally taxing exercise!

Since I'm qualified - my choice would be easy if I could swap that bass to guitar - as nice as the bass is - but then my choice would be

F512
F50R
X-2000

Unfortunately that does not seem to be option in this game.

I have 2 electrics (an 8-string Strat-type, and a 6-string Blue Flower Strat) and 4 basses (NS Starfire/Ric 4003/Pbass/Gibson LPDCTribute Bass in worn brown).
Acoustic: no gots
Electric: Blue Flower Strat (opinion may change after owning an S-100)
Bass: Gibson LPDCTribute 2019 in worn Brown - no competition (opinion may change after owning a JS-II).

I will sit across from Grot in my own curmudgeonly armchair (I didn't know armchairs had personalities!) and decline while we sip fine rare beverages and discuss our massive collections that mostly sit in secure storage vaults.

Admittedly, the idea of 50 guitars give me major anxiety. I have more than I have ever owned at one time now, and the count is 5. But here goes.

Acoustic: My 52’ Southern Jumbo
Electric: My 68’ (still lacquer) maple cap tele
Bass: I would love to have an old Pbass, though I love my JSII
