Smart move because I am betting you would push yourself past a safe comfort zone.

WOW - a truly fancy 11-string guitar - but unlike my Guild F212 that does not have octave G for reason - this one has only one B-string.

One more pic - please - show her b-hinds

very nice Ray! I always liked Blueridge. they make really good guitars.

their BR140 i nearly bought several times over the years, a classic Martin D-18 like dread.

Thanks yes they are some great sounding guitars . My 180A is the equivalent of a D45 I believe. I hope you make move to get one but maybe a OM because of your arm . 🙂

I know, and do not get me wrong, glad I got the F30R while I could and had the funds and it will allow me to play guitar when i am old, but i still reach for the dreads, the Br in fact, most days as i just am a dread kind of guy :)

oh, i have become quite the devotee of medium gauge strings however. i like the larger feel and grab under the finger pads, particularly when fingerpicking. i thought as we age we tend to move more to lighter gauge strings, but i must be changing that narrative lol

Dread it is then ! Lol
I use 12’s now but when I was playing a lot more I down tuned / open tuned

Down to C or what ever , I’d go to 13’s mostly for the E,B,G strings as the lighter gauge flubbed around a lot .

Well I just replaced the missing G string on the 12, sounds great , so I’m sitting minding my own business and I decide to play that thing I was earlier.

ok after that I’m looking over the guitar now looking at the bridge then move on .

No wait ! Did I just see what I think ? Here we back to the bridge . Yup a reflection from the TV showing me a lifted corner .

upon further inspection and a piece of paper in hand annnnnnnd Cut !

sure enough at least a 3/8- 1/2 inche of where the heck is my glue. !

so one bridge job coming up at sometime or other . I’m still working the Job in my head.

See more crud thrown in my face 😡
