So here I am, before the crap hit the turbine that is . Minding my business and I’m just browsing guitars and Bam ! This pops up large and in charge .

so this caught me by surprise, I’m like when did they make this ? I’ve never seen one before or even heard of it .
Price is fair , where did this thing come from ???? Lol

anyway I pitched a price guy didn’t budge much so I said I’ll think about it .
I kept taking a peak at it . U guys know once you say I’ll think about it you’ll keep looking at until it’s in your hands. . Lmao .

Anyway the guy messages me 2 days ago apparently he wants me have it as well . Told him I’m in the hospital and can’t do anything for about 6 weeks when I’m home .

Man why is timing always so bad ?

So I’ll just give a clue because I ain’t bought it yet and one never knows though he’s holding it things can still go wrong .

Well, first I posted the wrong picture anyway, as I posted the 6 string version...got distracted by the rosewood body. But later I also realized the 12 string versions were only available with either mahogany (P-712) or maple bodies (P-812). So it is not a Madeira by Guild....(I thought it might be when you said "but this will get me kind of close I hope ").

So what else will bring you "close" to a Guild F-512?
My next guess would have been a Westerly Collection model like the F-1512 ..

But than I read you said to Woody: "...this is no Guild ".

So I'm lost with ideas if it is no Guild and no Madeira by Guild...
Still we are looking for a cheaper Jumbo, Rosewood, Sitka, 12. Cheaper compared to Guild (so Martin and Taylor also not).

...unless it's one of the 70ies Japaneses Guild F-512 copies!

Well I was drive to pickup the guitar and I’d bring my son of 13 yrs to help . Funny thing last night I had pee more then normal , most annoying .
anyway on my third trip of gimping in the dark to the can I starting thinking about the rd trip of 2hrs one way .
The thoughts where of how difficult it was to get to the can let alone anyway where else .
I can drive short distance but going that long on a interstate and have something happen well though my son can get the walker out but that would be about it. So I canceled the trip and asked to just ship it along with my apologies.
I think it’s the smarter thing to do in my case of immobility .
