I have a 60th anniversary Classic Player Strat. Desert Sand with gold hardware. Gold anodized aluminum pickguard. All nitrocellulose, 57/62 pups. Made in Mexico. Best stra t I've ever had, and I've had many. Highly recommended!

Looks and sounds pretty nice. Not a fan of the painted headstock though. Sound wise I liked the Commemorative Tele the best, but it is quite a bit more. The Anniversary Tele seems like a pretty good deal.

Can you believe I have never played a tele, IIRC?
Which anniversary was in the 80’s? I remember when those came out. IIRC they were like a gray/sand color.
My favorite strat:

I've played a pile of Teles and while I love the sound I think they are probably the least ergonomic guitar around - and I like Les Pauls!

It's funny that I really don't like Strats much, but I love a nice super-Strat. I'm just not a single-coil guy, so I use my Strat(s) just for that position 2/4 tone.

Ha! I use position 1 (neck) 99.9999% of the time. 2/3/4 sound good but like a duck quacking to me. The bridge sounds like tin. Way too bright. I need an S-100.
