That's a pretty color. I hope the quality is better than that of my Epiphone ES-335 Pro, the "Pro" apparently signifying "Protruding Fret Ends."

And Guild is talking about reassuring the M65 Freshman. Lots of cool retros out there!

I read on another list a rumor that they may be doing an inspired by Epi New York(my description) with a few carved top hollowbodies. Would be nice to see, but not sure what market there'd be.

That is gorgeous. Plus, it looses the ugly epi headstock.
29er, looking forward to your review. I sacrificed my nice ES-335 to fund my X-500; no regrets, but still, I really liked that guitar. Another Gibson is out of my price range, but I maybe can afford an Epi.

Cougar, that is an interesting way to stand a guitar up!

Scares the heck out of me because I once managed the angle wrong and so it slowly started falling forward. No damage or mojo thanks to a carpet but I don't trust myself to get that right anymore.

That's my guitar ( it was originally listed at Dave's Guitar Shop where I bought it):

Awesome. I did steal that shot from DGS. I can't upload the shots that Sweetwater sent me but here is a own cell phone pic of my guitar. My pic does not do the finish justice but you get the idea.

Looks great! The Photographers do a great job at some of the shops capturing things in just the right lighting.

I have an Epi ES335 Pro bought new several years ago. I have always been impressed with the quality and workmanship of the ES335 Pro for the price. I have had zero problems with the ES335. At the same time I owned a Heritage H535, built in the old Gibson Kalamazoo building.

As a project I upgraded the ES335 pickups (Seth Lover), wiring (CTS/Switchcraft), and bridge (TonePros) to match the H535. I did the work myself so there was no labor cost. The results of the upgrades were impressive. The upgraded ES335 is now a close second to the H535.

Being a massive fan of Steve Marriott I was all about those Epiphone Coronet reissues. I was hoping they would reissue some of the old Epiphone stuff.

That's gorgeous. I'm really jazzed at what Gibson has been doing with Epiphone these days. They also lost the Epiphone E on the pickguard. Good move.
