She was a regular artist back when I listened to KPIG while living in the Santa Cruz, CA area. Best radio station ever.

I discovered her through another obscure artist Phil Roy, who has not become a bit more obscure than her. Very talented lady!

She is fantastic singer/songwriter and has been around for decades. Highly respected among other singer/songwriter peers.

This song came up for me a while ago on Spotify and I had the same reaction. My dad had COVID and was on a ventilator at the time. (He's since recovered.) I'd heard of her, but not sure I'd actually heard her. Impactful song - stopped me in my tracks.

Very powerful song indeed. I have to admit I’d never heard of her, and that I had to look up the word flummoxed.

No special history. I saw them live once at Cal State Chico. I had a good friend who used to volunteer as an usher at the college and she recommended seeing them. I really enjoyed their music and thought that Vicki (the singer) told a wonderful story in The Bridal Train. They have a lot of songs about missing home. Just recently I decided I'd try to revive my interpretation of their song When I Die. I also want to do Josh's (guitarist and singer {builds his own guitars}) Since I've Been Around. Their live album A Brief History is the only one I own and I like just about every song on it.
