Congrats Gary. I’m actually surprised you didn’t already have one… or three.

Heh. Me too.

Starfire IVs and S300s are my weak spots. When it comes to IVs I’ve had or still have (going from memory):

1973 blonde (smallest neck ever)
1976 stereo ‘hog
1978 (this one)
1981ish sunburst
1994 red (fool for selling)
1996 sunburst
1997 ‘hog (fool for selling)
1998 blonde
2000 blonde (my favorite neck ever)
2002 sunburst I think. It’s in the pile.

I think that’s right. LOL. Never had a ‘60s model

Don't know if it means anything, but I have a '71ish D25 that came (to me) with a case that looks almost exactly like that case. Brown with a "sheepskin"-looking lining. Also, the original brown plastic handle broke on mine, so I need to replace it with something like the OP's.

I couldn’t resist, and let me tell you, it’s the season of resistance here in GAD-Land.

1978ish Starfire IV.

When I was in high school the guy who taught me a pile of stuff (And who I played in many bands with) played a ‘79 that looked just like this.

It looks to be in stellar shape, so here’s hoping!
Very very very extremely nice, I love the old classic geetars cuz ya just can’t walk in anywhere and get one, and as your gonna find out they just have a MOJO the new ones can’t match.
