Someone just responded to my WTB post over on TGP with this pic:

It's rare that I'm speechless, but damn.

In the 80's I had a serious EH pedal problem, and they were very easy to get. The Frequency Analyzer in combination with the compressor is a mind altering combination, with an Echoplex or Memory Man to get some repeats going. You could make your guitar sound like anything you wanted, but a guitar pretty much ;]

I last saw my Frequency Analyzer when my drummer, cousin of Chris DeGarmo the bass player in Qeensryche, switched to bass and asked to borrow it. I still miss the damn thing.

This post cost me like $500 ;] Got me thinking about the Frequency Analyzer, a Ring Modulator and how bad I missed one and other things I've never really tried like a decent Envelope Follower/Filter and then also I needed a Delay to make crazy noises with it all.

After kicking around EH vs Earthshaker and too many others, I rediscovered DOD which has amazing reissues of pedals you could never get like Joey Greenwood's DOD 440 Envelope (that was back when I sold my OD250 for big $$$) also a killer reissue of the 90's Gonkulator Ring Mod, all in the 70's style chassis with BIG KNOBS, and then finally a Rubberneck Analog Delay with 1.5s of delay that you can run other pedals through the delays for freaky effects.

Effects just keep getting better ;]

Tom Cram hit it out of the park with the Rubberneck. I feel it will be remembered in the same regard as the old EHX Memory Man but it could do much more. That and the way I understand it the circuit was made from scratch!
