D-44s are pretty rare on eBay, and now there are two pearwood bodies to choose from. These guitars are very interesting. They fill the gap for the player who wants clear finger picking but for whom smaller bodies are too light, and for accompanying singers in way that lets them know you're there without being overbearing. A truly unique sound for anyone who does not have a similar gutiar in his/her collection.
