help with a serial number on a d4

I could really use some input here. If a d4 had a serial number of 404818 that sounds like a late 90's guild made in cali dosent it???

They closed there Westerly plant in 95 correct??

Any advice would sure be grateful!!!

Hello John,

The Westerly plant was closed in 2001. Your D-4 was made in 1999, so that makes it a Westerly-made guitar.
