Here's the Minnesota State Bird for any Minnesota or Northern Tier LTGers. I found this guy inside the harbor right as the sky was darkening toward sundown today. Slow shutter speed, not enough light, yadda, yadda.....

Not one of my best loons but he's in winter plumage so maybe that explains why it's so cold here!! :wink:

Excellent shot of our state bird. We should follow his lead and head where the water is not frozen.
