Hi, I'm brand new but have been reading for some time. I didn't find this subject addressed maybe I didn't look in the right spot. What is A "Ghost"? Thanks E

Welcome to the forum 58B. Stick around and you'll have more fun than you can imagine.

I'll offer that the "ghost" probably refers to the early Guilds that sported a Ghost label inside the guitar body for a short period.
Check page 28 of 'the bible,' better known as the Guild Guitar Book to confirm.

Towards the upper right of your screen is a search icon. Search for ghost label & amongst all the chatter you'll find many references,

It is sometimes referred to as the "ghost logo", so that may be why you thought it may have been on the headstock.
