Headstock Logo

I've never seen this Guild logo before. It's being sold on Ebay: 1957 M75



Was this an early design that changed soon after?

We'll need a consult from Hans on this one. I can't find reference to an early headstock like that in the bible.

Book says the M-75 would have had a plain peaked inlay logo, but anything is possible with Guild!

Hello everybody,

It's legit. That particular headstock inlay was only used for a very short time around 1957. There's a reference to it on page 70 of The Guild Guitar Book ( Blonde M-75 -upper left corner).

Ah ha! I looked under headstocks and logos, instead of looking up the M-75 itself. Good thing we have Hans around to keep us out of the weeds.

There was a custom Guild 12 string for sale a year or so that had that headstock logo. It was purdy...
