Steffan,

I was born with a lousy upper jaw. My teeth up there were either gone or full of filling/root canal's. Plus, I lost my front teeth playing football in high school.
So, sometime in my early 40's, our dentist (bless her heart) said to me one day, that she agonized with me because my upper jaw was so lousy, that if I were her brother, she'd advise me to had a denture. My bottom teeth/jaw is real good.
So, I got the denture and my health, attitude, eating, etc. improved 10 fold.
Sorry you've had to go to hell and back!
Since your a brother.......get it done and enjoy the well-being it will bring!! :D

I really want to thank you all for your support, and encouragement. I got some more information, and it looks like it may come down to a full set, in order to re-establish my proper bite. If that happens I will be able to get full coverage, including dentures, from the available help from the emergency extraction part of the support I'm getting. Thats for the complete set. Its been a long haul, and its nice to finally get a little support. So, in the new year you guys better behave yourselves, or I might bite ya....  Steffan

I'm not sure how I missed this thread before but man, what an rough road to have to walk. It sounds like things may be on the verge of getting better now and I sure hope they do Steffan. We have to hold in our hearts the belief that they will. I've had a rough year so far on the medical front myself so I know what you mean when you feel you've lost control of your life, but hang in there and stay positive... there are plenty of folks out there rooting for you.
