I saw Pat Metheney use a stand to play one of his guitars while also playing another he had strapped on. Recently saw this video of The Fearless Flyers where all three were using stands for the entire set. Pretty cool. I'm sure there are others in groups who do this, but maybe not ALL the guitarists at once.

In the '70s, a co-worker convinced me to go with him to a concert by Renaissamce, and the guitarists had guitars in stands. They held the guitar at playing height so they could step away from them as needed/wanted. A little different than Aguado's tripodium:

Lots of designs out there. Gracie Stands was one of the best. You can still find them used on occasion.

I have one that fits Ovation guitars.

First time I saw one it was being used by Hilda Williers in Sage. The next time it was Eddie Adcock slinging his banjo behind his back to pick out a lead on his guitar in a Gracie stand.

Interesting, but I'll pass.
To my mind an accident waiting to happen.
I'll stick with straps on my guitars, which also make for a quick get-away when the audience gets surly and starts throwing stuff.

Makes me think of the Rickenbacher Motorized Vibrola guitars

I've seen a few musicians play stand mounted guitars, usually as a way of switching instruments, such as having an electric guitar on a strap and playing an acoustic section on a stand mounted guitar.
Steve Howe was doing that back in the '70s, and I've seen lots of players doing it. Never tried it myself, though.

That FF band just looks awkward and stiff.

Do they all have bad backs or something? What's the point. It would be better if they were sitting down.

Can you stand it?

Metallica's James Hetfield is using a stand for his Custom design Line 6 Variax 700 Acoustic (with some of the lyrics and scenes from the Unforgiven II song and videoclip on it). He is playing a custom Ken Lawrence Explorer as main guitar.

Not sure what brand James is using, but as example, König & Meyer (K&M) also produces such stands (and they are expensive!)

Expensive in Bavaria, means $$$ stateside.

[The K&M factory is across the river from Bavaria]

I have one of these k&m stands and used it when I played with a drummer and tried to play bass (on the stand) and guitar both into a looper. It was sometimes funny, but didn‘t work out well. the drummer could not hear the loops good enough to play good in time. Cant recommend doing this.

For the Fearless Fliers, this rig is part of the bands persona. They all are dressed up as aircraft pilots or mechanics. All of them play with normal guitar attachments in other bands or in their solo stuff. Mark Lettieri has his own band as well as Snarky Puppy he plays in. Cory Wong has his own band that plays some serious funk stuff with a brass section.

I first saw one used by David Bowie on his Glass Spider tour in '87. I give that moment partial credit for inspiring my Harparatus invention, putting the harmonica on the mic stand.
