My uneducated guesses about Westerly production are all less than 100 guitars per day.
Similar guesses have 20 Guilds per day as a goal at New Hartford that was never quite reached (although there was also non-Guild production).

A lot of VERY specialized equipment there, but if you're gonna knock out 300+ guitars a day, that's how you do it!!
I found this to be a very well made video on guitar production. I love how-it's-made videos in general. Not Guild, but I'm sure many of the same steps and machinery are used. (Is there a similar film on Guild production?) I was not familiar with the Crafter brand until seeing this, but then again I am not actively looking around or spending any time at guitar shops.

There is quite a bit more hands-on skill going on here than I would have expected at a modern, large volume factory. Very impressive!

A friend of mine had a Crafter acoustic about 10 years ago. My band was on tour and we stopped in his town for a couple of nights in between gigs. We were all partying together with some of his friends, when one of them, who had had far too much to drink, fell flat onto that Crafter guitar with his full weight. It was an awful sound. Unfortunately, he crushed most of the body and the guitar was beyond repair.
Regardless of it's undignified demise, I remember it being a very nice budget acoustic. I think he paid around $350 for it new. I'd say it was comparable in quality to an import Washburn or Alvarez of the same price range. Solid top I think and took a setup well for great playability.
