Hi guys, I am new in the forum and I am interested in Guild, the first I bought was a 62 M65 3/4, I collect mainly Mosrites but I like a lot Guild. I want to know if someone can tell me anything about the X-375 on e-bay right now, it seems refinished.....but looks nice.......

Anyway Thanks in advance

Welcome in Joe....................Beautiful guitar there , no wonder she caught your eye. I cant add much to whats already out there, just do a search on the X-375 here at LTG......you'll get HEAPS of info about them generally.....on THIS ONE specifically, ......stay tuned! Sure does look great, and SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO early in Guild history! :D Again, Welcome !

It does look a little refinish-y. It definitely has a later, modern era Guild tailpiece, Gretsch bridge and replacement tuners. Also, the middle p/u looks a little crooked at some angles, but you kinda have to shrug your shoulders at that, 'cause who knows...

I'd jump on this one before considering the eBay one.

The eBay one is still a neat guitar and I'd be happy to have it, just the same.

Yeah, what about that bridge? It looks like it's from a Gretsch Viking.

the bridge is a brand new gretsch reissue part ( the old gretsch bridges have equal size wheels and the rod is bent - the repro 's have a straight bar with different size wheels )

the guitar clearly has been fixed up at some point but the price aint bad though I personally would spend a little more and buy a clean / original one
