i had the unique privledge of escorting her from the airport to a concert in Buffalo NY --back around 75 or 76 .I believe at the time she played a D-50 - a really down to earth person -she wasnt a mega star back then , just a cute young lady with a poodle , a guitar and a pile of comic books. a real sweetheart of a person . That very same day i had a run in with Randy Newmann of all people who refused the ride because i didnt drive a decent enough car for him ( the person who wrote and recorded short people among some other fine songs -good song writer ) ive always though of him as a smuck after that - and ive heard from others who felt the same way .
