Mrnowhere posted this before, but I'll confirm that the Summer 2010 issue (No. 332) of Guitarist magazine -- with Brad Paisley on the cover -- has a nice two-page spread in its Used Gear section on the Guild S-100 Standard. I just picked it up over the lunch hour at Barnes & Noble. The article features a beautiful sunburst '73 S-100 Deluxe with a black-lined Chesterfield logo. I believe it's been mentioned that some lined Chesterfield logo inlays existed up until 1973, after which the logo had no lines.

A glimpse of what the article layout looks like. Thanks again, mrnowhere, on the head's up about the article. And where are those photos of your S-100 Deluxe? :)

Who is the article? Worth a pick up of the mag? Any new info we don't already know?

Nothing in there that we didn't already know, and at least one thing is wrong ... the production ended in 1977, not 1978. But I still wanted it.

And I'll buy it too, regardless. I work a stone's throw from B&N.

Huh, that mag's kind of expensive. Guess I have to learn how to play now.

It is indeed. I was thinking the same thing, especially since I bought Issue 331, the one before the Brad Paisley issue, thinking the Guild article might be in there. Doh!
