I am offering this wonderful guitar to this group before I try other avenues. I will not ship but would be willing to meet somewhere safe within a 3-4 hour drive from central Illinois. As most in this group know, the Ren Ferguson designed Orpheum line was made in New Hartford, Ct. for a short time and in small numbers. Mine was crafted in 2013 and I thought I'd keep it forever but things change. Condition is excellent with no structural issues. This guitar excels in all types of playing. I'm primarily a finger picker and even though it's a big guitar it really shines when played in this style. Of course, a flat picker will bring out serious tone and volume in this guitar. There is some finish checking on the top but I can't seem to capture it with a cell phone camera. A previous owner had installed a pickup (now removed) and the end pin jack has been enlarged to .5" to allow for the output jack. There is also a plugged strap button hole on the heel cap and another strap button has been installed on the neck heel. Hard shell case and Guild owners manual are included. I'm including a link to the Elderly Instruments ad from when I bought the guitar in May of this year. The guitar is unchanged from when I received it. I paid $2385.00 and that is what I am asking. Feel free to request more info or pics if needed. I will make a donation to the group upon sale. Thanks, and stay safe!

While playing some Rev Gary Davis stuff it just hit me that it needs to stay with me. And I also recalled the everlasting regret of letting my 1985 Nightbird fly away after owning it for only 2 years. Really wish I shad kept that one!
