It's a little weird - I work at a small guitar shop part time, and we've had the Manhattan special and the 350, and the special had the stop, the 350 didn't

What makes it weirder is that my Manhattan Special doesn't have the stop either, so there doesn't seem to be any pattern to this. My only other guitar with a Guildsby - a Capri that's a few years old - has the stop.

Great review GAD.

I just got an email from the person at Guild who designed the harness for the X350, and apparently mine is mis-wired! He's sending me a new one and I'll post my findings which, if he's correct, will be vastly different than what I posted. He also said that he had all of the currently in-house X350s checked to make sure they were wired correctly.

Kudos to Guild for reaching out!

That’s great. I am now going to swap the D and G strings on a new F55, say that’s how it was set up at the factory, and wait for the FedEx truck to arrive. 😈
