Yep, first thing I thought of was one of those 70’s shopping mall Kimball organs w/ the marbled royal blue/emerald green/scarlet red colored plastic rocker switches w/ preset rhythms of waltz, bossa nova, etc. And of course the store employee who would sit and play stuff w/ a cheese factor of 10 for passers by. Yuck.
Seems everyone knew someone who’s grandmother had one in their living room…bookended by 2 statuary lamps w/ the hot oil that dripped down strands of what looked like 150 lb test fishing line. 🫣 On the wall above the organ. A framed velvet Elvis….of course. Yep, that melodic rhythmer puts me right there.
