hey all! i'm scouring the internet for some case options for my Guild m240e troubadour I got for a steal at a guitar center for $240. I'm a little disappointed in the sound a few months in, but I'm also comparing it to my taylor 415 & an old road island guild I had years ago.

since I got this to be my travel guitar, I really need a good case for it. i know guild has a $200 hard case for them and an $89 westerly foam deluxe case...but trying to find some other options but just have no confidence in what will fit it.

any ideas out there? trying to spend less than $80 if possible. Thanks!

How "good"? Is a flat OK, or do you want an arched lid?

Aside from that, I suspect that any 00/classical case should fit. It might not be perfectly snug, but that's easy to remedy.

Take the guitar to a music store and try various correctly sized and shaped generic cases in your price range until you find one that is suitable. Alternately, ebay, kijiji, craigslist etc., for something available.

As I already suggested, if you want cheap and cheerful, quick and dirty......
