Just wanted to say that I am really pleased with my Guild GAD JF30...
I just received it from someone on another forum - it has a Dean Markley Trinity soundhole pickup installed on it and sounds phenomenal.

Being a little biased towards American made guitars, I had my doubts...
But this JF30, IMO, sounds tonally better than my 80s Guild D17M.
I used to own a Westerly JF30 and I like the way this GAD plays...

Any other GAD guitar users?
Love mine!

I'm constantly impressed by my GAD30RE. I traded off an issue-ridden '69 Gibson with a 1 9/16" nut toward it, and have never looked back. Not too crazy about the poly finish, but I suppose somethings gotta give if you want a well constructed, playable and tonally acceptable guitar for under a grand. While there may not be a lot of love for GADs from the American-made Guildsters, the GADs are bringing new players into the Guild fold.

I, for one, am grateful for my GAD, since it's gotten me playing regularly again, and that's always a good thing. And it's a perfect guitar for fingerstyle with the 1 3/4" nut and 2 3/8" string spacing. Double bonus.
