Hi folks, does anyone have any recordings of their F-47R? I don't have any F47s near me to play and I'd like to get some sense of the sound. I know hearing a recording is not going to be anything like playing one live, but it's the best I can do at this point :)

Thanks!

Hope to have one next weekend.

And i'm eating my heart out! One day... one day...

So far we're planning to bring both to Arlington, you need to pick up a maple one so we have the trifecta.

I don't know, buddy. Rosewood has my heart. The CV1 RW will be here sometime next week. I'm hoping the neck is similar to the F47; gotta be the smoothest I've ever played, bar none...

Re: Get the F47M

Icgeek,
I own a F47 Maple & I love it!! I use it for playing country blues & ragtime. Its very bright, however, not think sounding at all IMHO. The andirondack spruce and maple back is a killer combination. My wife complains that she can hear it from the far end of the house & thats when I am only fingerpicking!. I use Elixer Nanoweb strings. Fresh strings really bring out the life of this instrument. Bought mine for $1400 on EBAY. One of these days I will post a pic.
