Articulate tone. A number of cosmetic marks but fundamentally sound. Everything is original and in working order, and it stays in tune. The honest wear comes with the territory. It had the neck reset and a refret job in 2011, but a very well respected local tech. Invoice available.

I have sold a number of Guilds on this forum over the years, all with satisfied customers. I should note that I have not been very active on this forum quite a few years now.

The action at the 12th low e is 3/32”. The nut is 1 5/8". The scale length is short, 24 3/4" or thereabouts. Saddle is 3/32nd. Bridge is 10/32nd. Minimal fret and fretboard wear. Hoboken label but built at Westerly.

The finish is lightly flaking at several limited spots, but the underlying wood is not gouged other than the headstock is slightly rounded a bit in places on the edge. The headstock veneer is curled slightly at several spots along the edges. There are two significant dings on the neck, but not in a place that affects play. There is a horizontal stand burn on the finish on the 7th fret. (see Photos).

Woods are solid, with just one slight, stable surface crack near the pickguard. The crack does not extend to the soundhole or to the other side of the bridge. The Tech saw no need to cleat it or otherwise do anything to it. Binding is solid all around.

In sum, this guitar has been around the block a few time, to say the least, but it's a fun old Guild.

Comes with a mint Superior case, which fits perfectly. Such a case is not easily found.

I am open to offers. Explain why your offer is a fair price.

I am technically challenged but I do know how to zoom and will do so for serious buyers.

Paypal or cash only. I will eat the paypal fees. Shipping is negotiable depending on the destination.

I would prefer for you to do your own inspection in person. I am located in Maryland. I hate to put any guitar in the hands of the shipping companies. I have shipped a number of guitars successfully and I know how to do it right.

SHIPPING and RETURNS: I would like to offer to take the guitar back for any reason, as some sellers do here on LTG. However, I do not like the idea of the guitar being in the shipping process any more than necessary. Accordingly, unless expressly negotiated otherwise at the time of sale, I will only accept return of the guitar if my assessment of its condition is inaccurate. In such a case, you pay full cost of return shipping, including full damage insurance. I'll refund in full once it has arrived back to me in the same condition it was sent in.

A donation of 3% to LTG will be made upon completed and final sale through the forum.

Any possibility that you would be interested in a trade? I have a Martin SWMGT that I wish to sell, but would be willing to trade. If you are interested I will provide you pictures in a PM. If not, no worries.
