First let me say I love this Guild. I played a show with it a few weeks ago and got rave reviews on its tone.

Between never really catching up from covid related furlough and subsequent pay cut and emergency home repairs, it only makes sense that I put this up to cover my most recent project. Having some drainage done to my house to keep my house from leaking with all this rain.

Anyhow, between purchase and installation of pick up, I have about $2500 in her. I would like to get this back out of her shipped. Street on these without pickup is about $3200-$3500. This was a “scratch and dent” without any scratches or dents.

there are a couple of small blemishes on the side of the headstock and the bottom of the lower bout that have happened since my ownership. I will get some up close pics of those and put them here. Hit me up with questions!

This is a tough call. I will just have to continue to enjoy my two other Guilds..

this is my wife’s favorite of all my acoustic guitars. Needless to say she is not happy I have it posted. She understands though.

that thing is looking pretty nice, and sounds like you did very well on it. sorry to hear about the covid fallout, it sure has affected everyone one way or another. there has to be something you can offer to 100 people for $25 each...or 25 people at $100 each...and just hang onto her? maybe some guitar lessons? just throwing darts here. but i'd take one for $25

That's a serious guitar right there. 🤯

I have the same model from Oxnard and that's a great description. It just has a presence- visually and audibly. That's a very good price as well. It'd be nice to keep it in the family - if anyone is thinking about pulling the trigger on it, I don't think you'll regret it.

Sorry for your troubles D30Man.

Not a bad idea Mav. Though I am not fit to be anyone’s teacher. I cannot read music. Thanks for the suggestions though sir.

Coop much appreciated. Though I am pretty lucky to be employed right now even though my industry took a pretty big hit. I am waaaaaay better off than many. Yeah it is an excellent model for sure and proof positive that the folks in Oxnard mean business.

I’ll add they did a stellar job balancing the boom factor on this model. It has plenty of bass but it is clear and focused for a guitar of this size. And lots of wood in the tone. I have seen a few shootouts between this one and the J200 and the comments favor the F-55 by a large margin.
