Guild D55 Found one

I found a D55 on the Forum that I am going to buy.




anyone near Utica NY (within a 2 - 3 hour drive) have a D55 for sale,or a JF55 ?Would prefer Sunburst but would consider Natural

Looks like you've picked a good one to shoot for but I must ask, how far would you consider expanding your search area?
As I see it, you're limiting your possibilities.

possibly 3 hours.I would want to play it,and look it over before I bought it ,I bought a Gibson over the internet from another state,and it wasn`t a good experience .The intonation was terrible the fingerboard was wider than the neck ,it`s like the neck width shrunk but the fingerboard didn`t ,all around it was a real mess.

What year range are you looking for? New Connecticut D-55? Westerly? ...

thanks Joe.Pretty much any year as long as it plays and sounds good.Don`t care about finish checking or scratches mostly don`t want any major flaws ,such as lifting bridge,neck reset intonation trouble etc.As far as price ,not really sure I`m thinking between $1200.00 - $1600.00 depending on year condition etc.
