Guild D 55 Compared to Martin D 28

Nice shootout! I hear the wood in the Martin. Excellent note separation. I just hear the strings in the Guild. No note separation just slush.

I agree. The Martin sounds better to me too.

May be a dumb question but wouldn't a D-50 v. D-28 be a better representation instead of the D-55?

And I just realized that to my ears, a D50 sounds better vs a D55. Who knew!

A Guild D40 to my ears sounds more like the D-28 in that shoutout video.

that D-28 in my ears and head, sounds like what an acoustic guitar should sound like. It’s a lot like my1983 D35.

oh, and to tie off that other thread...Bud Light won the test for me. I know, right? Crazy...
