Serial number reflects early 1967 GUILD.
Hoboken label is consistent with a Waverly built after the move from NJ to RI.
Guitar appears to be a refin at some time .
It is immaculate other then a scratch that the owner put on rear of neck shortly after receiving it.
Bracing and perfling consistent with D40s of same vintage .
No chesterfield and closed back s tuners consistent with more 1966 though some 1967 examples display.
Guitar needs a neck reset other than that it is in miraculous shape.
That top part is from luthier. I have this guitar, I just don’t have the time to do neck reset. This will be an amazing guitar once done. Probably factory refin from Guild itself. I just want what i put into it. 1900.00 If you live in NY tri state area I’d meet up with you. I would trade for a 70’s Guild that’s in good shape and doesn’t need a neck reset, depending on year etc or color…looking for black or burst. You’ll get the better deal. I’d rather sell to a member here I know she will get a good home.
