Did Guild stop production on the contemporary series? I don't see them listed on the website any longer. Only the GAD, DV and Traditional series are there now.

Anyone have any insight into this?

Thanks

Hey Jim,

Don't know if they're gone for good but the new ones coming out of the new pant are the D55, F50 at the moment.

Once they get full capacity rolloing it will be interesting to see what makes the cut and what doesn't.

Just as a follow up. I just received the latest Guild catalog and the Contemporary series is not listed at all.

It looks as if they are done... on the plus side, the Traditional series looks great! :)

As Graham mentioned, Jim, I think we need to wait and see. That said, the ramp up of Guild production in New Hartford, CT has been pretty slow. The CO and CV guitars (as well as the Willie Porter signature) were hallmarks of the Tacoma, WA period of Guild which just ended this year. Sigh. Get 'em NOS or used while they're available; you may never see 'em again.

Anyway, stay tuned.
