Hi ,
I just received my Guild Aviator who is almost in mint condition !
Unfortunately ,during the shipping the guitar has moved in his case with the result that the first tuner is broken .
Would it be possible to buy somewhere such a tuner or has anyone another idea ?
I will also try to glue the parts together .

Wow, I don't think I've ever seen a tuner break like that! Hopefully Hans can help you.

I also think Hans might be the only possible source. I have not seen such a black tuner in @Knash 's parts list at least. Unless some other member has one.

Keith Richards would approve of that guitar having only five strings . . .

Sorry for the damage.

Really looks White and the ebony fretboard is nice.
My white one has turned a mellow yellow, even cased, for many years, with a rosewood neck and California pups.

Hi Ralph,
Yes indeed the guitar seems whiter on the pictures than she is in reality ..... , it's rather like you said light mellow yellow , in Belgium we say " broken white " :)
Mine has EMG's which I don't like to much for the moment ,I do not have experience with active Pickups but with my normal settings of my amps , the sound is not so good ,but before giving a final review I experience some weeks with the settings .

Depending upon the age of the amp there may be a switch that "tells the amp" whether the guitar plugged in has active or passive pickups. It can make a difference.

Mark Dronge named the Guild Aviator after his father, Al, who was a pilot and died in a plane crash. Bet you didn't know that. ;)
