Hi All.

Selling my Guild D70NT. (Pics to follow)

The D70NT (natural) is somewhat of a rare, flagship D series acoustic model Guild made in the late 70's to early 80's. I think it still ranks as their most expensive D model to date (corrections welcome please).
This example is a good players example. There are marks and dings but nothing you would be upset about, unless you were told it was 'mint'.

There has been a device fitted to the bridge that helps prevent bowing of the soundboard around the bridge area and the neck is on the limit for needing a reset. It still plays well and a reset maybe avoided for some time. The action is more than usable but starts to get a touch high after the 12th. If a tech could lose a mm' or two, at the bridge, the action would be good up the entire neck and if the neck doesn't move anymore, then you'll be good to go and may not need a reset at all.

The frets are good, plenty of life left, the neck is straight and there are no cracks to the soundboard. It comes with the original case and tags.

The guitar sounds like a cannon; I real strummer's guitar; loud and detailed. I would say it likes to be driven but does a good job of finger style playing. However its real forte, is being used with a pick.

These are quite rare and seem to fetch rather eye watering prices in the US. Due to the potential for a neck reset (although not immediately needed) and the addition of the bellying device, I'm trying to price accordingly.

Still a great playing and sounding, flagship D' model and certainly an interesting one for collectors.

Pictures to follow over the next day to two.

Happy to ship to US or EU.

Shipping to US would be $175 including insurance. Takes about 4-5 days. For example, landed this would cost roughly $2,700
For EU, it would cost roughly €2700

Can do a video review on WhatsApp if needed.

I'm also selling the following Guilds:

Guild 1965 SF4 Special £2,099
Guild 1967 DE-400 £2,099

Definitely a premium model, but not their most expensive to date (D80, D100, DC130, D55 50th Anniversary, and perhaps some others)
