Folks,

New year and GAS is becoming harder. Well, since the end of 2012...

I've been rambling about Archtops, Resonators, Mahogany and 12 strings guitars, in the last time. I know: I'm a little dispersed...
So many beauties out there, so little money and I'm quite away from the US.

As many of you know, I'm in Chile and several of the great deals in CL or GC, for example, go away from me, for several reasons, although none of them is quite serious...

Well:

  • I'm looking for a not expensive Guild 12er.
  • In the best possible condition and without a neck reset in the near future.
  • Now the most exigent part: I don't want to spend more that US$550.
  • Yes I know, it sounds a little crazy but, in the last days I've come across some guitars even below that range: a D25-12, a G-212 and an F-112.

I would like to own an F-412 or an F-512, someday, but for a first approach to the wonderful world of 12 strings, I think I'm doing fine.

Therefore, dear LTGers, I would really appreciate if you know about something and if you would like to help to this southern member...

Have a great year!

A hug & All the best,
B.

Bruno,
there would be one at GC that probably fit your requirements: http://www.guitarcenter.com/In-Store-Us ... 2643562.gc

Ralf,

Thanks for replying, my friend.

I saw that guitar: Marc posted about her and I even wrote in that thread. Now, by Charlie's comment, she would be old and so, it's quite possible that she requires a neck reset.
The only way to know, would be through an enabler, but I don't know if we have here, someone in the Atlanta area...

Thanks Ralf!

A hug & All the best,
B.

Forget the one at GC. I just called them. The top is bulging, and the bridge lifting. Action is very high, but of course with the other problems you can't really judge that. I wondered. The price is awfully good for an F112.

That's a great price, which at the same time makes you suspect.

Thanks for the info, Charlie!

All the best,
B.

It does appear to have a few issues. I have no idea what a "JLD Bridge System" is.

Britt
Hey Britt,

Welcome to LTG & Thanks for your suggestion.

That guitar looks familiar, from TGP I guess. I think I saw her for a little more of money...

Bruno,

Have patience grasshopper

I have no info on this guitar, no pictures & it's well out of recreational GAS range.

Hi Jeff,

Patience I'll have, master & Thanks for the link.

You never know what life has to offer and for a little while I will have to control my GAS. If everything goes fine, I'll tell you why then.

Thanks folks! :D

A hug & All the best,
