Welcome. 1970 is almost certainly Westerly in spite of the Hoboken label. I;ll let smarter folks answer the othe rquestions and maybe even correct me,

I'm not an expert on dates and the switch from Hoboken, NJ to Westerly, RI, but in 1970 i'm gonna GUESS Westerly. The wood is solid mahogany back and sides with a Sitka spruce top. Others will be along shortly.....

That would be Westerly for sure, late 1969-early 1970 I would think. Only the very earliest F112s (1968) would be Hoboken. Hans I’m sure could tell you whether it’s ‘69 or ‘70, but I’m not sure date details beyond that are available for most guitars. I’d personally call that a ‘69 since it’s using the older serial number scheme. I had a 1970 F112 with a non-Hoboken label.

Hello framus,

Welcome! That particular Guild F-112NT with serial # OA-1096 was completed during the year 1970 in Westerly, RI.

Sincerely,

The body size is like an Orchestra Model or a 000 model in Martin terms. Guild used the "F" as "Folk" model.

Wouldn't that be a 12 string F 30? A friend has one of these and I really like them. A very under the radar Guild.

totally agree with Tom, its sitka spruce topped and b/s are solid hog.
pretty much the ranch dressing of acoustic guitar tone woods.

welcome. I own 1970 F-112 OA 1098. no label in mine and only part of the serial on the back the headstock is barely readable. but thats what I have. underside the top there is a pencil written date of March or April 1970 (can't remember which). A fine 12er indeed
