Hi all. New guy here. Been a lurker for a while, just joined & thought I'd say Hello.

While I currently don't own a Guild, I've been a long time fan of the Thunderbird. As such I currently own a couple of DeArmond JetStar's (both MIK 'standard' models), love them dearly as they are probably the most comfortable guitars to play that I own. Would love a proper T-bird, but finding one on this side of the pond's a bit tricky... Frankly, theres not many about, and when they do appear, they're somewhat $pendy...

Anyhoo, just thought I'd say Hi, and I hope I can contribute something to the community...

Regards... G

Jerry needs lots of help. He's on your island, too. That could be your contribution.

Welcome aboard. :D :D

If you've been lurking a while, then you know how crazy we are and what you're stepping in.

Hope you enjoy your stay.

Welcome, welcome. Dr Gonzo is a choice screen name.

As your lawyer* I advise you to post pics of your troops, even if they aren't Guild-Guilds. ;)

Welcome!

-(another)G.

*Danerectal has advised me to change "lawyer" to "attorney." I don't remember** which one is more gonzo.

Thanks for the welcome. As HST was the original Dr. Gonzo, I chose drgonzo2 as a tribute/mark of respect to a great author & libertarian.

Qvart, I'd like to put up pics, but my camera's one of the old film>print jobs. As a bit of a 'techno-luddite' I've never really got the hang of this compooter stuff. I'm happier messing 'round with valves...

Oh, and it's 'Lawyer' over here. Or 'Barrister' if you're rich...

Nice!

Well, as your barrister I advise you to kick back and enjoy the asylum! ;)

You still there, after all this nonsense Dr. G ??

If so, a hearty welcome from another civilized country, where we too, drive on the correct side of the road, have barristers, and know how to spell humour correctly !

Oh, and some of us like to fiddle with valves ( not tubes ! ) also.

A belated welcome Dr. Gonzo 2!

Don't let those guys freak you out. That's just the way things are sometimes around here. Don't be scared, we're really quite a friendly bunch.

I'm sure you know the saying

How come sharks don't eat barristers?
Professional courtesy.

How come barristers don't go to the beach?
Cats try to bury them in the sand.

Over here we call them "mouthpiece".
I think they chose the wrong orifice.

BTW: Anybody know a good one? I might need him/her.

Welcome, drgonzo2.
Post well. Post often.
