Got "the works" setup for the D25

Since they've got it anyway, I'm thinking about giving the green light for the bone saddle and nut.

You should, Tony! What did they quote you? Around $100?

$75 for the Works, plus strings. We didn't discuss the saddle and nut, but their website calls it $60 EA. Gotta be worth it, especially since they're gonna have it apart anyway. Be silly not to. Usually I don't have an extra hundy just sitting around, but just sold a set of Rigid pipe wrenches that I haven't touched in 15 years or so, so now's as good as any. Hoping for the CWG discount

Just made the call to upgrade the saddle and nut. $110 add, making the whole deal $195. Luthier Dan asked "Is that the one you're ugrading to the neck reset?" My response? "God, I hope not". Hope that's not CWG's.

Well, if it's only the saddle, it's only$50. Nut is $60. Why not

Fantastic job done. He plays,looks and sounds great. I haven't had much of a chance to play him yet, but I'm convinced enough that I'm taking him to graduation night tonight.
