Very interesting blend... who ever heard of a Gypsy guitar format with a saxophone? This bass player swings like crazy!

After I acquired the gypsy-style guitar I bought this last summer I sent a note to the luthier who built it, Shelley Park in Vancouver BC, telling her how much I loved it. She wrote right back and said it had an interesting history. The guitar was used by Gonzalo for his shows at Djangofest in San Francisco in 2003 right after she built it and he beat the heck out of it. She took it back to the shop and buffed it out as best she could but the marks were still visible. Anyway, I don't care... I'll never play like Gonzalo, but the guitar sounds fantastic.

Even though I can't hear it I just know I'd like it. I'm savin' all these links for when I finally get a soundboard.

Now that's the kind of autograph I'd go out of my way to preserve!

I thought soundcards grew on trees there! I hope you get one! For a musician it's so cool... there are lessons, concerts and tons of vintage footage on YouTube, not to mention customizable internet radio (like Pandora), movie previews and the list goes on! You'd love it... the danger is in never again leaving the house.

Nooo...the danger is in never leaving work again, like that guy in the commercial about Autotrader Online....His buddy comes to work on Monday morning and finds him at his desk and suddenly realizes: "You didn't go home, did you?" Guy hangs his head and mumbles "uh, no..."
The hurdle is that I need to have my IT guys here install it even if I pay for it. Economically we're not neccessarily out of the woods yet and I don't want to push something that for me would technically be a luxury. :(
